If holiday snaps and selfies are making you roll your eyes every time you log into social media, turn your feed into a brightening bookish fix by following these diverse pages:
1) Book Riot
https://www.facebook.com/BookRiot/
This page always stands out for me because of its sheer variety. With book lists, ebook deals, literary news, quizzes, relatable quotes, there is always something eye-opening to read.
2) Literature Is My Utopia
https://www.facebook.com/literature.is.my.utopia/
My favourite thing about this page is the abundance of literary quotes to turn to whenever I need some perspective – even better when they are often accompanied by beautiful illustrations.
3) BookBub
https://www.facebook.com/BookBub/
I follow BookBub mostly to keep up with all the bookish news, plus they have fantastic book lists and recommendations!
4) Your local bookshop
Keeping an eye on the page for your favourite local bookshop is the perfect way to make sure you don’t miss anything, including events and new releases.
5) Goodreads
https://www.facebook.com/Goodreads/
I particularly love the interviews with authors or book-adapting filmmakers. Cute, relatable or simply beautiful literary images also mean I can keep scrolling for ages…
6) For Reading Addicts
https://www.facebook.com/ForReadingAddicts/
Alongside the prerequisite bookish quotes, news and reviews, For Reading Addicts is a wonderful source of inspiration for literary gifts and merchandise.
7) Buzzfeed Books
https://www.facebook.com/BuzzFeedBooks/
The quizzes are a lot of fun – but beware of becoming mildly addicted! Is it essential that I know which high school clique I would be in based on my favourite Judy Blume book? No. But… it’s the bookworms (unsurprisingly)!!!
Buzzfeed Books also has a book-of-the-month club if you feel like trying something new.
8) Bookstr
https://www.facebook.com/bookstr/
This page is super-prolific in posting content so you can guarantee that whenever you have a spare moment there will be a new article to make you even more hyped about books! They are very hot on literary news, but these longer articles are combined with recommendation lists and inspiring book-aesthetic images.
9) Literature Junkies
https://www.facebook.com/Literature.Junkies1/
Quotes galore on this page, including poetry, classics and contemporary writing. Their collaborative approach means there is infinite variety and you get the best quotes from all nooks of the internet! All of the quotes are beautifully presented and poignant enough to send shivers down your spine.
10) Keeping Up with the Penguins
https://www.facebook.com/keepingupwiththepenguins/
Sheree @ Keeping Up with the Penguins has a diverse Facebook page that is well worth a like! With a classic literature slant, it is sure to add some culture to your feed. I love the ‘On This Day’ features that remind me of much-loved favourites or books I’m dying to read. The hilarious ‘Best Amazon Reviews’ always make me laugh as well!
What are your favourite bookish Facebook pages? Have I missed any that you would like to recommend? Let me know in the comments, I would love to hear from you!
That was a really cool list about books. I’ve only heard of a few of them so I’ll definitely check the rest out.

Thank you, I’m so glad you found it helpful! If I’m waiting for the bus or killing some time I find it much nicer to scroll through book-related content rather than random people’s statuses 😊
