The City Girl Magazine aims to connect, inspire and empower women living in cities across the UK and abroad. I write about books and entertainment for the magazine (what else!?!) and thought I would share this post on my blog too.

Diversity and representation has always been a key issue for my book blog, and I took this interest into the film world for my latest magazine article. Follow the link for a varied list of Christmas films that don’t all consist of white nuclear families!

These look like amazing movies! I just finished reading Let it Snow, and I’m excited to watch the film now. Also, I definitely need to see Nothing Like the Holidays!

Wonderful article, Florence! ❤ I don’t tend to watch Christmas films and I’ve only heard of one of these (Let It Snow), but it’s great to learn about them and discover that there are more diverse options out there than the ones viewed as mainstream.

Thank you so much Stephen! 🥰 It really widened my concept of Christmas films and was really fun to write even though it was a bit weird watching all the films back in September! 📚❤️ X x x
