Hello! This is just a quick post to explain the changes that you'll probably have noticed on my blog. In line with the New Year vibes of 'out with the old, in with the new', I've completed a full rebranding of the blog and website.
There's nothing quite like a new year for getting me excited about reading. Twelve whole months stretch ahead, ready to be spent devouring new releases and tantalising backlist paperbacks alike. With that in mind, I've put together a list of the top 10 books I'm looking forward to reading in 2022...
My magazine articles mostly consist of book reviews and bookish content, but for this month I decided to share one of my other passions - blogging! Well, 2020 has been a year I think most of us would rather forget! I hope you and your loved ones are all safe and well. In the midst of the chaos, we've all come to appreciate books even more, with their reassuring constancy and the opportunity they provide to escape reality for a bit.
So without further ado, in no particular order (because I am extremely indecisive!) here are the top 10 books that helped me survive 2020...

2019 has been a wonderfully busy, varied reading year. Both my English Literature course and feminist book club have pushed me out of my comfort zone and encouraged me to try something new. At the same time, the inspiring community of book bloggers continues to keep reading exciting - I can't wait to see what 2020 brings!
So without further ado, in no particular order (because I am extremely indecisive!) my top 10 books read in 2019 are...
It's that time of year when everybody is starting to plan out what their reading life will look like in 2019! With so many challenges and checklists, there are plenty of resolutions to choose from.
Personally, I have not set myself any reading goals this year. As an English Literature student, my compulsory reading is enough without setting myself any more deadlines! However, if you are reading purely for pleasure, can setting goals help to enhance this or turn reading into a competitive activity that puts you under pressure?

2018 has been the year I truly re-discovered my love of reading. It has been wonderful to immerse myself fully in the literary world: going to book club, attending my first author event and starting English Literature at university. Not to mention continuing to be part of the inspiring community of book bloggers!
